During a school year, there are 5 INSET days that are used for staff training. These days are set in advance of the academic year  and are shared with parents and carers. 

In the event of Westroyd having to close due to unforeseen circumstances (Eg extreme weather conditions), we will inform parents and carers via our texting service and website. On these occasions, we endeavour to give parents as much notice as possible.
