Meet the Early Years Team

At Westroyd, we are lucky to have staff who provide a wealth of Early Years experience. Please see below to find out about the team.

Miss Dennison - Class Teacher

Miss Dennison has recently joined the Westroyd team. She has started her career this year and is excited to continue her own learning journey as she remains the Reception class teacher this coming year. She has a wonderful calm and kind nature. She is passionate about creating a purposeful environment and motivating children to do their best! Miss Dennison loves to take learning outdoors where she uses nature to inspire. After relocating for her studies she is now settling into life in Yorkshire. She is a keen walker and loves to go hiking with friends.

Mrs Fairclough - Nursery Nurse

Mrs Fairclough is a long standing member of the Westroyd team. She has a wealth of Early Years experience and knowledge. She is an outstanding practitioner who supports and leads children's learning to a high standard. She has a passion for phonics and is supporting our new approach to teaching early reading. Mrs Fairclough builds strong relationships with all pupils and is very nurturing. Her excellent knowledge of child development means she builds children's communication and social skills. Mrs Fairclough is a member of the Farsley community where she lives with her family. She enjoys walking and listening to music.
