As part of Year Three's Stone Age topic, the children learnt how to build, light and cook on an open fire. They explored how people from the Stone Age used charcoal from the fire to mark-make and make cave drawings! They also studied a range of animal skulls and how you could tell which ones were predators before building their own fires and roasting some delicious marshmallows.
