Thank you, Cameron in Y6 for introducing the WILD card rule!
As you may know, I am rather competitive and always play to win! This week DJ David, Harley and Cameron took the challenge to try to beat me at Uno over lunch. After the longest game ever - which was 45 mins long-I obviously won! But Cameron brought a new rule to the table. I don't normally allow rules different to my own, but this is a great addition to the game. If you lay a WILD card and say a colour, the next person has to keep picking up cards in their hands until they get one of that colour. Well, poor David, had to pick up 16 cards at one point! It was very funny!
This last week at school, we welcomed a student from Leeds Becketts University who is on her final placement before becoming a qualified teacher. She is very lucky as she will be learning from Mr Fawcett in Y6 and working with the delightful children in our Y6 class, right up until July.
We also have two new sheep, who have joined the school! Shelly and Shaune. You will spot them guarding our school on our doorstep!
